Own both
at the reef xcede 135 kills our e92 m3(The 135 is a 12.8 sec car on street trim)

at the coast the m3 passes the 135 in 3rd.(the m3 just has exh)

m3 is really a drivers car. needs to be pushed to its limits.
btw the 135 and and m3 is not slow
ran a ko4 g6 that runs a low 12(12.3) and from 3rd the m3 opens up

I cant believe you guys are comparing an M car to a 320i...(335i with bigger motor)

M3 - looks better, has M heritage, has best N/A V8, last M car with N/A motor
335i - looks like a 320 with sport pack, is a 3.0l with 2 small turbo's, of course it must be fast...from all angles except rear its a 320i...sad but true, yes a JB4 or a Sherwin or a Chiplogic can make it insanely quick...even then doing under 13 sec 1/4 miles and over 250kph its still not an M car...

If we were to take 10 random people off the street and asked them to choose, M3 or 335i...I shouldn't even have to say the outcome!

Whats your point?

:bangdesk::bangdesk::bangdesk:

All that writing and you still don't get the point?

Maybe read the 1st sentence an ignore the rest.

Newbie is all i read !

The 320i comment alone states you know absouletly nothing about Beemers let alone M3s.

Hi Guys

Here is one with two professional drivers. Both cars standard. My car is not modified but I have raced a friend's 135i who is modified with a JB4 and he hurt me bad.

So if a standard 135i can beat the M3 as shown in the video, what would a tuned one manage.

I reckon YouTube is very misleading so its not a good platform to base a debate on. Which video is fact and which fabricated. Better still, what other factors came into play. Maybe someone mis-shifted or limped. Interesting topic considering we all BMW Fanatics.

Whats the best thing since sliced bread again?

:biglol:

Videos here to :

iMO a faster car does not make it any better or vice versa. X35s is a car that was introduced once again into the BMW family as a game changer. All the newer models since then have gone the FI route so I dont think its a matter of what is better but more a matter of personal choice !

Being a ///M fan is one thing , being arrogant about it is another.

compare apples with apples and not a modified 135 or 335 with a stock ///M

standard M is faster than 135 or 335 and sets the benchmark for all cars in its class, as it has for many many years ..... nuf said

Let me turbo my ///M and go head to head with a 135 JB4 ...... single turbo six against twin turbo six. Sounds stupid .... does it not? lol

The 135 and 335 have to be fast cars as they have 2 turbos attached.
In the 90s very little could keep up with my Tredia Turbo.Lousy car overall and I only paid R3500 for it but the 325 Is could only pass me after 150 and that applied to most large cc NA cars.

So yes, turbo power rocks and there's no arguing with that.

If only it didn't look so bland... That's, like every other M sport finished 1 series

Twin turbo-- twin scroll .... I say potato you say .....
If fanatics are chatting then the little niggles should be taken for granted.

To the point then.
There's no denying its fast.
There's also no denying that it looks the same as a 318d M sport.

Forget the " turbo " nit picking and stick to the topic of looks.
Does it not look like any other M sport

Would you not prefer the fat 1 m stance?

That's all

Petri.... I keep saying that the 335 and 135 are impressive for what they are ( turboed cars)but that too doesn't seem good enough from the owners.

I'm asking about the looks and I'm being picked on for other parts of my thread.
You either think its the bees knees in stock form and that's great cos you appreciate the great lines.
OR

Don't you think that for the beast it is ,it should show in its physique.
It's like looking at a very thin bloke pushing a ton of weights... doesnt look right.

I'm relatively new here, so josh... Can you indulge me with a pic of your beast please.
