Hi I have an e36 325 and want to install the m3 throttles on it . The m3 throttles are individual throttles so i was told that to make it work on my 325 ill need some adapter or something .
Is that true ? If so can u guys explain it a bit more to me please ?

I've spoken to Nancy at Cliftons M3 centre in cpt. Apparently Gough and Cooper can make up the adapter plate. ...and then obviously tuning. Do u feel the power gains really justify the price?

You will not have any power gains by changing to the s50b30 throttles.
You will loose mid range torque and might make power at 7000rpm.

Your fuel consumption will make a V8 blush.

So you say it's not worth it ?
Because some other guys on the forum told me before that I should go for the m3 throttles .
But can you advise me on any other things that I can do for good power gains ?

I fitted M3 headers and the complete decatted exhaust system to my E36 328i.

Way better throttle response felt immediately.

I then went for the diff swap from the standard 2.93 to 3.46 ratio, much quicker off the line.

Next up was the 325 manifold swap and then last the uni chip.

I'm now pushing 160kw and 270Nm at the flywheel. :joy:

Not bad for a vert, I'd say.

You only gonna feel the diff when used in conjunction with other mods..throttles alone would just make your local garage owner slightly richer

A stroker conversion would also be a nice avenue to look at
