M3 E36 3.2 engine blown

Hi guys I have a E36 3.2 M3 track/race/play car that threw a conrod threw the block on the last midas funday at killarney. I would really like your opinion on raplacing/rebuilding or sourcing another complete engine for the car. It must be a bmw engine straight 6 making around 230kw turbo(like 335i) or non turbo doesn't matter

Speak to Werner. They have an e46 M3 engine sitting and waiting for someone to take it. They even have a 335i engine or V8 M3.

Anything can be made to fit.

Check this e36 with a V10 M5 engine in it.

You would need to probably change out the gearbox and DME. Wiring harness too I imagine. I am no pro at doing engine swaps, but this would be a great upgrade.

Your weight distribution would be different tho, also stronger suspension up front.

Clifton should have a 3.2 engine lying around.They should be able to sort you out with all the parts you need.

Cliftons only have a block and I have just found out I am not aloud to drive V8 in my car for clubmans only straight 6. What kind of power can I get out of 335 motor,has it got a turbo?

Yes, it has a turbo.

Slap a JB4 on that 335i motor with some downpipes and water meth and you will be doing 280wkw easy.

Can you run the N54 motor without the stock ecu/cluster etc?
Or do you need a crazy expensive management system?

easiest way to do this would be to buy a *35 that got parked backwards into a tree then take all the parts you need from it...
