Is the base DCT M2 worth R130k more than the base RS3?

definitely..
I have heard only bad things about the RS3 besides its straight line speed.
i have even seen reviews where the driver has chosen a stock golf R over the RS3..
and we all know that M drivers dont only care about straight line speed..
plus the M2 is going to hold its value really well for the 1st 2 years.
so the initial cost isnt such a worry.
oh and AUDI extras are CRAZY expensive.
a nicely spec'd RS3 is 900k easily.
and it still looks like an A3..

Second hand M3 would be 100 times better than this. Not sure why you cant compare it to a new car. Only thing you cant compare is new car price vs used car price, but value is definitely something u can compare. You get more car and more value for a 2nd hand M3/M4 than you do for a new M2. I understand that new will always been more expensive, but that doesnt take away the fact that you would be crazy to go new M2 instead of used M3/M4.

Just my opinion.

Well the Z4 35iS is well over 900k these days. The m2 should run circles around it. It will be interesting to see what the convertible M2 will cost.

Apperently not as limited as 1M but they will be a short production nevertheless.

I'd like to see if the 1M will still hold that secondhand 500k+ value when the price of speed comes along. The Price is justified considering it's not really a hatchback and has very few cars in its class that match anyway.

I follow you not :)

Misread sorry. No car is worth buying new unless that car won't dent your bank balance at all. As has been said. Let the rich buy the new cars. Lol

But seriously I am talking mainly about BMW cos of their comprehensive MP
