m135i vibration sound

hi all

i hope i have posted this thread in the correct place. i would love to start an introductory thread on my car but the problems below are killing me.

i have a 2014 m135i (EWG) with 66000km with two separate issues i would assume

ISSUE 1
i have been getting this weird vibration sound(its sounds metallic) through out the rpm in comfort and sport mode and when the engine is hot and cold.
(BMW have checked the ASD and it is not the cause of this sound)

ISSUE 2
further to this i have another separate issue where the steering wheel vibrates at around 1000rpm and can be felt touching touching the body panels of the car as well. this vibration gets progressively worse as you accelerate through a corner at bit of pace and as the speed increases to 140kph where the car feels like the alignment is out ( i have just replaced all 4 tires with mpss and the alignment has been done twice in the past 100km

note on issue 2
The vibration happens when in neutral with the car stationary so there's no load on the engine. The vibration always happens upon deceleration of rpm's also so as the car drops from 1100rpm the vibration can be felt.
could it be the exhaust rubbing or the guibo/center bearing or a crank balancer?

or is this bearing knock

BMW replaced the following to try fix the issue

the water pump
tappet cover and seal
oil pump
vannos seals
engine mounts
steering rack
vbelt and pulley

both problems still exist does any know or have any insight into what may be the cause? PLEASE HELP

It does sound all too familiar,
It came in at around 2000rpm in sport and 5000 on comfort if you held the car in neutral and keep it at 3500rpm it would come out again
Confirmed to be a bearing knock on my m135i - the motor was on 90 000km

i have 2 weeks left of motorplan im extending it today if this is the case:fencelook:

If they are aware of the issue while you are still in plan then I don't think that you will need to extend for them to fix it for you. Hopefully you don't have a bearing knock, but even so, you are still covered.

my car does not see to have the added weight which is there to prevent vibrations. will take it to the dealer tomorrow hopefully they are aware of this

You're just going to end up prolonging the process with this as they will attempt to resolve the issue by 'trying this fix'. You've already (probably) sent it in numerous times based on the list of things that were already replaced.

You have MP, which is expiring soon. Drop the car off and get it checked out for the bearing knock and they will advise accordingly.

I had same vibration issue on my 2014 F30 335i. The weight on pipe sorted it out. Its a well known issue on the 335i on international forums
