M135i thoughts

By pure chance, I recently test drove a used M135i. What a lovely car.

Its a 2013 model - White, 5 doors, 8 speed Auto etc. The car was a definitely a "flight" of steps up from the car that I actually went to test drive.

Anyway, the dealer want R420k odd for the car. As mentioned it is a 2013 model by it has done 43k km's already. To me that is a bit high and also given that my 2006 Sti has that mileage currently. The car has been through a single service to date

I'm at a crossroad here. Its alot of car for the money if compared to the Toyota GT86 that I originally went to test drive. R420k doesnt seem bad considering the new price of the M135i but 43k mileage done in just over a year does seem exorbitant.

That is a very good price! If you drive a lot of km I will probably advice differently but if you drive it only occasionally you might aswell save a few bop and get this one. If you put on 10 000km a year over the next 3 years you will have a nice low mileage car to send back into the market.

I recon you could prob get the price down a bit more!
When I asked for an evaluation on my car which is also a 2013 M135i and its got 17 000km on the clock, they would only give me R390k for the car!

So that one you looked at must be worth less if it has a higher milage.

Not sure... but that is what I think.

It is a lovely car though and I love mine to bits!! It puts a smile on my face every time i drive it :rollsmile:

I bought a M135i but a much better one ..

Same colour, but its a 2014 model with a fair bit of extras..
