M135i Akrapovic Exhaust

Has anybody heard the sound of the akrapovic pipes for the m135i. had a chat with somebody last night they said back box is going for 32k then its an extra 8k for a wireless valve controller that plugs into your lighter so you can either close or open the exhaust flaps from in the car. I think theres also a full evolution system with down pipe and the wireless controller module included going for 70k and this is covered by motor plan.

anybody got any more details if this is true?

i think its quite a worth while mod if you gna also do down pipe considering MP stays in place.

With regards to the wireless kit, and I might be wrong here, but the wireless kit does not control the valve, it bypasses the blocking plate. Well that's what it does on the 1M exhaust

Akra DP's are not MP friendly....in any langauge

Is there a bmw performance one available? or is this mod only possible with a DP that will kill MotorPlan? Also does a down pipe require software?

was thinking of doing hardware mods DP, Intake, BOV, charge pipe and maybe meth injection and anything else that i can remove for service and leave software stock.

This is my first BMW with a turbo so I have no idea how and what mods are possible

Regards

As far as I know, any after market DP is not allowed according to MP. I don't believe that there is a DP as part of the Performance exhaust package.

Check you PM

No Akrapovic for M135i until end of the year :argh:

M-Perfromance exhausts have also been recalled because of some rattle they creating so for now theres no MP friendly options besides ACS.

Is a backbox delete with straight pipes a bad idea for the 135i?

Just buy the bypass valve from Driftworks. Its cheaper and works great.
