M135i Advice please

Hi All
Some advice/info would be really appreciated...

Ive recently acquired a M135i auto...
Love the car to bits...need to ask...

is there launch control on the car? and if yes, how does 1 activate it?
any recommended software upgrade that i can consider? , BUT, don't want to loose MP...

The car will have Launch Control if it has Auto AND Sport+.
A few club members have Auto without launch control because they don't have the Sport+ feature.

This car does not have a DCT box it has a ZF Auto box

The car must have already done 2000km for LC to work, it only kicks in 10km after you start the car when the car is at optimal operating temps

Procedure.

Put car in sport + mode
Slide gear lever to the left
Foot very very HARD on the brake
Then depress accelerator as quick as you can, push it right down
If you are successful a flag appears release brake and hold on :rollsmile:

Ok here is all the info from Shaun at JSN..

Downpipe + Intercooler and Software is R70k ex vat..( guaranteed min 275kw) sometimes u get even more, just depends on what kw the stock car is pushing out...

Just Software alone is R42kex vat

AC Schnitzer exhaust (DP not included) 36k ex vat, no performance gain, just tone change..

According to him no other hardware upgrades from different suppliers are MP friendly..

Guys for Launch Control your foot really has to be HARD on the brake. I tried it just now and what I thought was hard enough wasn't activating the launch control. It's also likely due to your seat position as well. If you sit too far back you probably won't push the brake hard enough.
