Any insight into the above problem would be appreciated.
Car in question is a 2013 BMW M135 with 17000 km's, which seems to be surging at higher rpm, by surging I mean it accelerates, holds back then accelerates again, all within a split second of each other.
Seems to more common in higher gears, from 4th onwards (car has the 8 speed sports auto)
Car is stock and is not throwing any error codes and drives absolutely normal except for the surge at high rpm under full throttle, no spluttering or breaking up etc
I have put in Wynn's injector cleaner and switched from BP to Shell to see if there is any difference.
Still have about half tank of fuel in, since filling up with shell so at the moment the car has a mixture of BP & Shell and the injector cleaner.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this surging?
