The ///M badges are one thing but when some idiot puts an ///M3 badge on a 320i… :skit::hammerhead:

Immediate 150kw boost there with that badge attached :tiptoe: , Funny enough it is almost 99% 320I's that has this problem
Going to take photos and post it here :roflol:

Don't think the new 320is are not very decently powered and nice handling cars though... especially when modded, they are more deserving of the m badge than some (sadly) neglected examples of M cars where folks want to claim snob status of owning a legend but have crap tyres, cheap oil and skimp on maintenance. Don't be surprised to see a 4 pot turbo motor in future m cars... but at this rate there may be an electric or hybrid one before then. Welcome to 2016...

Actual M3/4/5/6 badges (not just the m) are a different matter and it is actually just sad on so many levels

i was in joburg this week on holiday and found almost every F30 3-series that i saw plastered with //M logos. even 320i's... whats the deal with this?

its quite sad to see how BMW have made this logo so mainstream nowdays. i guess its the same with AMG's too. back in the day these logos actually seemed like a really special thing.

Didn't you know that the M badge is the cheapest 100bhp upgrade you can buy for your car...?! :roflol::roflol::roflol:

What drove me nuts is the hoops I had to jump through to buy a replacement M3 badge for my car, as the old one was fading. I had to go there with either the car or the registration papers.

seriously, papers just for the badge? wow.. the protection around it seems hectic. probably easier just to rip it off a taxi apparently

Yeah like the wifes cousin told me she bought an amg merc. Only to see it was a c class 180 with the amg kit

I personally concur with the OP the M badge should have stayed on the proper m cars
