After watching that Akra post, I thought I'd add this.
Now, this is only a muffler system with no race X Pipes.
The main focus of this system was to give a throaty sound with no drone

Are you guys psychic.... My thoughts exactly and I can guarantee that there's no drone on motorways too.
Cost of muffler system is the same as that of Akra.
Unfortunately,M Performance haven't developed an X pipe system for the e92.

:inlove::inlove::inlove::bravo: HEMEL!!? Does anyone know if you would get more or less the same with the Viper exhaust system? That is the sound Im after but cant afford the BMW system. Heard some good things about the Viper system...

But the DTM cars come with Akras full system, so are you saying that buyers should have had the option of either systems, Akra or M Performance?
Then you've got the CF boot spoiler and the splitters helping with down force and understeer. Should these parts have been stock on the e92 too?
OR, the 10mm lower suspension on the competition pack cars , should that have been a stock feature?is once again about exclusivity.
I think you see my point.

Don't know about Viper, but I do think you need to ask the supplier about the drone the system emits as these muffler systems don't offer power increases just a nicer tone.
There's nothing worse than being deafened at motorway speeds by accessive drone

Ok I do see your point... But as a consumer, you are buying an M car no? So it should come standard with M products:fencelook:

Now with the CF, those are add ons, you can still drive the car without them, but you can't drive without an exhaust:tease:

Hell I'm not objecting people making money, but with the exclusivity now, is just a paint job and a different wheel:yuck:

OEM exhaust mod, they bascially cutout the perforated pipes and replace them with straight pipes

Ive seen and heard - M Performance pipes - £2700 - no power gains and 16kg lighter
Akra - Ive heard - £2900 for muffler system without x pipe - 2/4bhp power gain
Modifying ex back box....£100 - what ever takes your fancy I guess
