M Performance 2Series

2 Series with M-Performance goodies. The front looks interesting. The rear however is a mess, really starting to dislike the rear on the 2series, as it looks very un-BMW like. The colour coding in the rear bumper just does not go with the black/white effect of the rest of the car.

The rear is killing me !!! The E82 looks much nicer from that perspective. I like the cf gear short shift kit

There's just something I don't like about the car as a whole... The back I don't even wanna talk about cause the lights look way too big for the car. Sorry but that breaks it for me.

lines from the side looks better and not entirely decided on the front end yet.

Interesting car, the rear tyre width does seem a tad bit too narrow, think it lacks the butch rear look. Also interesting to note that there only seems a single cooler / radiator in the front bumper.

Yeah if you look at the profile of the car from the side, the rear does rise up quite a bit, therefore makes the rear tyres look narrow. Could also be the rim/tyre combo is not a staggered setup, which would be very odd.........if you look at the first pic, there is a bit of side fender gap, which could hint at a square rim/tyre setup. It doesnt look sporty enough from the rear.

good thing about that tyre setup is you can rotate tyres, and those sizes are readily available.

Just wrap the diffuser gloss black & it'll look the part :inlove:

FYI, the F30 diffuser wasn't too great either.
Love the Perf diffuser on the E9x :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

I actually don’t like BMW's styling these days. Think the only reason we find them good looking is that they are BMW's and BMW make good looking cars...right?

One reason is that the whole range looks aggressive. What happened to fluid lines to create a graceful car. Now the entire range of 3-series looks like a wanna be M3. Sharp lines and aggressive ducts to make it look like a sports car.

Next is that the whole range looks the same. This is why I never liked Audi... you could never tell the difference between the models easily. Now the same can be said for BMW. I can barely tell the difference between the 3 and 5 series, and I am a bit of a car nut. Strange to thing that out of the German 3, Mercedes seems to be making the better looking cars and differentiating there range the most.

Think the last 3 good looking BMW's made were
E82 1 series coupe
E85 Z4 roadster
E46 3-series

But anyway, what is for sure is that they will be fun to drive :)

I am loving this. Want to see the tail lights in the metal though.
