m-dct Box in 1m Possible???

I was wondering what it would take to fit the M-dct box into the 1m is this at all possible and if so what would the Cost be as a best guess.

I wonder Why BMW never gave us the option.

Well it can be done, however it will cost a pretty penny. Modifications to the mountings and even chassis will have to be done. Now even if you get everything right, how will the programming on the boxes mechatronics module go? I don't anyone will get this right :thumbdo:

Just some interesting info, the 1m is fitted with the N55 gearbox, not the same as the 135 N54 gearbox!

mechanically it can be done...

programming wise is going to be a nightmare...

would be cheaper to fly in a geek like Ken (wedge performance) to come and code the electronics than ask bmw to do it...

approx. cost R100k for parts and labour plus programming over and above that
