Damn - now I am in trouble because I have a normal F10 550i with a Msport bumper and stripes on the grill.

Car looks hot man, post more pics. Congratulations bud. May You have many blessed miles of smiles.

Aadil ! How could you ? Now you gonna have a whole bunch of opinions laughing at your ///M grill stripes on a non ///M car.

Nevermind that your car will outrun most of the real ///M here and it is loaded with BMW Motorsport parts, it is not acceptable.

Curiously...

How many M drivers are concerned with the badges being sold?

Seems like the majority of the argument are from those not driving M cars probably due to a purist attitude. I salute you guys for trying to keep it real. :coolShake:

I'll keep my m badge tho :) one day it'll be real.

This has probably been discussed before, but what are your guys opinions on putting M badges at the back, or the 3 lines on the grills of non-M cars?

I'm of the opinion that any M badges and stuff on a stricly non M or M sport car is a bit ridiculous, but M badges on M sport cars, are fine. People shelled out extra for a car with M performance parts and the look, and are proud of it.
A true BMW enthusiast will know it's not an M car. Like and M3 or something, so who cares? I see people getting a lot of vlak for putting on M badges on M-sport cars.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

A M badge is not going to make it run like a M

I bought my car and the previous owner fitted a M badge on the back. I don't particularly like it there and I will probably be ridiculed at the next meet I show up to but honestly i can't be bothered to remove it.

What started as light humour has gona totally south...

Is that a bed build by the M Division or a fake? :tease:
The M-police will come for you.

On a serious note, a lot of the old technical knowledgeable guys left many moons ago, since then its mostly ///MAndy and a hand full of others that has build threads

Hey no, we all here know that this thread is only meant for fun and that is what it is seen as. Please dont take anything from this thread seriously, as someone said earlier in this thread is that everyone has an ass and everyone has an opinion. That is exactly it, an opinion.

Nobody said not to put the badges on if that fancy's you, please go ahead, it's your car but do know that you will always have people on both side of the fence for whatever you do to your car. But if it works for you, then that is the important thing here.

PS: I like the bed sheets but that maroon should have been white, then it would have been perfect

Same here and like you I couldn't really be bothered

There may be an issue with BMW putting M badges on my steering and door sills though, dont think the M police existed when the car went into production :=):
