But why? They can go order it straight from the dealer with the vin of the M3 :tiptoe:

You would be amazed at the number of M drivers that won't go to the dealer for anything. If you have shopped for an E36 or E46 in the past 2 years (or not E92 it seems) you will realise that whilst they might be able to buy the car they may not be able to afford proper maintenance or in this case buy the badge. The other factor is the lack of standards when repairing or cosmetically modifying.

Case in point: Someone thought this would look good or even 'ok'. Whatever needed to be changed/fixed, this outcome was 'good enough' to their pea brains

Hope you laughed in his face...

Or punched him in his face for wasting your time.

Or BOTH? Yeah, laugh then punch or punch then laugh. Doesn't matter what order, as long as there is laughter and punching involved.

I can't imagine what i would have done if this ever happened to me :RedNo: i would slap that mofo with a hot iron or something

you know that facepalm emoji thats available on skype? as soon as i got near the car and i saw the back.. i just stood there like that for a whole minute.

i asked the dude if he knew what an M3 was? because this is the farthest thing from an M3. he tells me its a genuine M3, and has the badge at the back and the M on the steering wheel.

my response: uhmm sorry its missing 3 extra exhaust pipes, 2 extra cylinders and 1.2 litres on the engine..and this car has 2 doors too many.

so he looks at me all confused....

my reply before leaving?: "ITS A F*#$%*G 318i WITH AN M3 BADGE YOU MORON!!!!" :hammerhead:
