No one here is saying you may not do what you want to your car. Nobody said someone else is paying for your car and therefore you must leave it as is. The discussion here is simply for those who are entitled to their opinions to show their disagreement of the subject practice, because integrity.

Most probably a 316i, you have an option to order it debadged.
Why one would do that I don't know, one should not be ashamed to buy a entry level model. Each of the generations, always had a entry level model.
