BMW has the WORST after sales service :argh:

No one responds.... Even the MD of BMW SA just ignores you :argh:

Just sent an email to BMW SA and copied him on it, so much for him taking an interest :thumbdo:

We need a sticky not only for bad dealerships, but for asshole sales/service managers/people!

I've had brilliant service from Cedar Isle Auto (touch wood).

I bought my 323i from them last July. A week later can feel the steering shaky between 100km/h to 110km/h. Went back, it was determined that front rim is buckled. Same story accusation of me driving over a pothole yada yada and to fix would cost me 1500. I told them I want to see the inspection job card for pre-owned vehicle before sale. They could not find it for the life of them. I demanded a re-inspection at their cost. 2 days later I got rims fixed, and other small cosmetic fixes and a full ticked inspection sheet.

Ask Grant for the inspection sheet and job card. If they could not provide. Christmas is early for you.

MMM it’s easy. Go to the second-hand car sales manager and ask him for the details of the roadworthy centre. He will ask you why. Politely tell him you are going to start legal action against them and roadworthy centre and that you have the evidence and photos. The roadworthy centre can lose their license and both parties BMW and the roadworthy centre for endangering your life and those of your passengers.
There is two things that a dealer should not play around with and that is tyres and brakes. This is toying with people’s lives and if an accident occurs due to their negligence they are held accountable and the law will have some ones head on a platter to take the fall.
Remain calm and Firm and always remember to set your own automatum.
