Thanks for the warm welcomes guys.

Promise to upload pics tonight . It's a 2012 SSV ute , 6 litre , standard wheels that are black , holden racing stripes . Only have a 76 mm exhaust done , next would be CAI ,colder thermostat and proper tune. And after that cam

Are you having cooling troubles too? My one refused to travel in traffic, got hot when it saw slow moving cars, Delta couldn't sort it out. We eventually just chopped out the thermostat core, put back the housing. Now able to cruise at 20 all day if needed, no problem, yet the heater is plenty good even in Lesotho winter conditions, so not overcooling. Give this a try, save yourself some hassles.

Apparently they change the thermostat with the tune to keep temps lower for better performance , I haven't really seen my temps rise too much in traffic .

I had a twincam witch I ditched the thermostat and it ran better actually , it cut out after a while before , afterwards no problem . Maybe I should tell them at the next service to chuck the thermostat

Don't waste your breath, they'll give you long stories about how necessary it is. It's a simple job, just open up the thermo housing, cut away the centre section, then put back the shell, it's needed to fill the seat in the housing. Assemble back, top up coolant and away you go. Running about 2 years so, never had a problem, and S/P NOT AFFECTED (nobody looks in there!). What the stealers don't know, they don't worry about.
