Loose cable in e90 boot left side

Hi all

i was snooping around in the boot and discovered a loose cable under the left side carpet, any idea what this cable is for.. refer to picture

Might be mistaken but the cars that have the stock amp use that cable. It's wired up in all the cars tho even if not used

I suspect you suspect right. That is for the CD changer or Amp, its a fibre connection if I'm not mistaken, some head units, usually on the business head units.
