Naturally there won't be any steering wheel track skip functionality...right? Because if there was any that would be too good to be true :joy:

So it looks like this with the cable coming out the corner above my thumb. The cable is a meter or two long with a 3.5mm jack on the end.

Just tried mine out - works like a charm :joy:

Rob, did you notice quite a lot of hiss in the background when Dolby filtering was turned off? I know hiss is normal for cassettes but I was hoping that it wouldn't manifest itself here... :fencelook:

I imagine it's the magnetic head and the analogue nature of the interface that causes it.

Dolby C filtering works best for me :mmm:

All things accounted for I think it's a great product! It's manufactured by Yodata, for those who want to know.

I forgot to mention in the above post that it also comes with a mini-stereo 2.5mm jack adaptor...............which is nice

Is this the cassette with the flash drive plug, or is it something else? @ Cerberus, I see you are averaging 10lt/100km, so there is something seriously wrong with my 320i, is yours also the 6-cyl?

This is the cassette with only an aux cable hey.

Yip I have the same motor as you. M54B22.

It does 7.2l/100km on the open road if the traffic is not heavy

 I don't know what is wrong with my car, can the bad Vanos only account for the extremely high fuel bill, or are there other things to consider?

Are all the cats removed on your car, and has it been "chipped"?

What is your average fuel consumption now?

I would think that Vanos seals would be a good place to start

AFAIK my car is stock standard all the way. Sorry man :thumbdo:

I think you will see why I want to cry: 17.9lt/100km average, drops to 15.9lt/100km open road and it makes no difference whether my foot is light or heavy ...

So I'll do the Vanos soon before this car makes me bankrupt ... :flyfun:

I'm still looking for the cassette with the USB port, will keep you posted when I find it.

A cassette with a USB port or SD-mini support would frankly be awesome. I will post if I find anything here!

The only ones with that functionality I have seen are only available on eBay, which of course means shipping from the States... :thumbdo:
