Looking for E46 330d Battery

Where will be the best place to buy battery in Cape Town

I still have original battery in the car.
Bmw E46 330d 2002 model

Not sure if 658 is the correct battery or what number will work for my car
Or should it be 668 or 652

Prices I got on 658

Battery Express = R3003.90
Sound Match = R1550.00
Exide = R2117.00

Got price from BMW
BMW = R 2 038.31

Please help

Ask for a VARTA battery. It is a OEM BMW battery.

I have a Willard 652 in mine for 3 years and no issue so far

Battery centre has the AGM battery. It's also OEM.

Not sure if you found a batt yet.

I can really recommend the (Exide I think) batteries that you can buy from VW on their econo parts range. It's a Exide imported from spain I think.
Just ask for a batt for the R5 or 3L tdi touareg.

I have been amazed by these batteries. Put one in my brother in law's 1995 c250 td merc. Due to an electrical fault the battery stood for 2 - 3 weeks completely drained, as in it measured less than 1 volt on the multimeter...
The batt at that stage was about 5 months old.
Normally for me this would have meant destroying the batt. After 3 days of charging the battery was healthy again and is still working today, 1 year after the draining event and working perfectly... Running about 4 of those batts in the extended family and haven't had any problems at all. They are very reasonably priced!!

I found Vonde Batteries in Maitland to be the cheapest, R1100 for a 652 Willard or Exide (you can choose which one you prefer)
