Congrats on your car.

Why does it have 3.0d wheels?

My X5 4.8i averages 15.3 l/100km over 80000km ever since I owned it. The power is addictive, though.

Perhaps the best option my car has, is the adaptive headlights, they swivel with the steering wheel position and is a great safety enhancement.

You did not keep the Landy for too long, are they plagued by reliability issues? I have been considering getting one but am a bit wary of the supposed issues?

Landy was decent wrt reliability - maybe I was lucky. Only issue was that as a road car, it felt very lazy even with the V8 - I guess I was always used to decent BMW's so I missed the on-road performance.

It's actually got the optional 19s which look like the 18s that come with the 3.0d. I checked the brochure when I got home, as I was also confused on the wheels initially too. BTW, standard 4.8i also come with 19s, but different style.

Nice X5 , but I will never trade my Disco 3 (maybe a Disco 4) for any car out there, 2 different applications, I use mine seriously off-road and has all the kit available fitted:rollsmile:

WOW!
Congrats, I must say, I still have a soft-spot for these X5's! I WILL own 1, even though it'll look like I've stolen my dads car! ha! ha!

Congrats! That is an awesome car with a fabulous motor.

The 4.8 is very addictive though, the sound it makes it so subtle yet utter brilliance.
