Welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing your M3!

Also, lots of events planned for the next few weeks, BMW Festival and there's the breakfast run to Franshoek Motor Museum...

silver, 18", HK sound, rear blind. was an old mans car i found up country somewhere so its still stock standard. milage is about 90,000km with full service history.

i did a full print out of the service history and insisted on a 20 point check before transferring the cash, because im full of shit like that :biglol:

was wondering about decatting the oem exhaust but still researching...

i saw the thread on the franschoek run. sounds epic...but ill be in jhb for the weekend. but ill make a plan to meet up soon.

Very nice buy  Decat is nice but you might get more rasp in the exhaust note , some people don't like that noise , each to their own , I think the M3 has enough rasp .

thats just the thing, i had a 206 gti180 previously with intake, exhaust and software. it used to scream. still getting used to the rasp of the new car, and not sure if i want it any louder...
and i dont wanna mess with the car, im very happy with it as is...

This is my 3rd BMW and I push them all equally hard on the roads. Handling in phenomenal for a rear wheereceive car. They are balanced very well indeed...

The M should have a decent sportcat on it. Has anybody noticed an improment in performance by removing the cat from an M3?

from other forums i've read on i see performance isn't really affected, but i'm sure the guys that've done it will have a definite answer.

i was looking for something that will give a more bassy tone to the exhaust

Welcome bud.
Stock is the way to go!

Going from the Gti to an M3 is a HUUUUUUUGE jump, be careful and do that advanced driving ASAP
