LOCKED OUT E84 X1

So I disconnected my battery to remove it. After being disturbed in the middle of the removal, I closed the boot with all doors already locked 😩! Without the power the key in the FOB won't open the drivers door and the boot does not have a manual lock on it. Any ideas on how I can get my car open ?

The Key in the FOB should work, even without power i believe. These are often difficult to unlock because they are never used. Spray some Q20 on the key before trying to unlock.

And unlocking the door manually will not work? (driver's door).

Resolved! Had to use power from "another battery" and spark the earth wire on the tail gate number plate light to jump the lock open. The exhaust tail-pipe served as the earth connection for the "other battery" .
