Just curious. Will the E30 325is diff fit (without any modifications) on my E36 325i?
I'm actually looking for an E36 M3 LSD.......does any1 know where I can find one? I'm in the cape town area

I'm not sure about that one, but with the e46 I know you need the rear subframe aswell. I think you'd still need the subframe with the E36 LSD. But maybe some one who knows the car better will chime in.

I think most scrapyards are closed for the holidays.

as far as I know the cases are different... but the e30 internals fit into the e36 case

no it isnt a straight swop but as Moranor says the internals are a straight fit but it will need to be shimmed correctly.
