Ash I once put the code into my e30 325i and something went wrong ( Forgot number ? ) so we walked home . I went back with tools and disconnected the battery in the boot , connected it after a minute or two and ......all was well . At home I saw .....spanners in tool tray on the boot lid ....:roflol:

When are we taking the 540i's for a run again ? Look at the weather this weekend ......there is a gymkhana day at Aldo Scribante on Sunday !!!!

Going to the company getaway this weekend.
The company wants me to drive the one boss’s new kombi bus.
I don’t think so!! :argh:
A 100km drive up the coast to Kei Mouth on nice newly tarred twisty roads
In a bus hell no!!! I want to drive my V8 :rollsmile:

I’ve been so busy with fighting the flu, I’ve not had chance to do a long drive in a while.

Pity my “work in progress” is not ready and this could have been its first run with me.
But I’m hoping it is ready before month end. There is a Gymkhana at the local track on the 2nd plus on the 9th there is one in PE

But at the speed things happen in East London, I doubt that! :bangdesk:
If this town was any slower I may have slip into a coma to speed things up.
I miss JHB sometimes. Parts arrive a lot quicker.

Seeing the car just sitting there and not moving is p****ing me off
Just itching “DANM It” to test the V8 manual vs. V8 auto :rollsmile:

What a weekend!
Went a company getaway this last weekend at Trennerys near Kei Month,
Actually a nice place,:rollsmile:
Friday on the way int a flat (two holes in one tyre). Okay fine, 10Km dirt road with sharp stones etc. Hotel staff took the wheel in to East London to be fixed on Saturday (thanks guys). Repair bill R100 :thumbdo:
Sunday return trip, 540 starts by moaning about having no coolant. Argh crap, okay fill up restart, 12 kilometres down the road towards the Kei River “ferry”, and the backend begins to float. And the hazards come on – on their own.

Flat number 2 !!!!! :cry:
Change wheel, with the repaired one, fitted in 5 minutes
Rest of drive home goes okay,

At Home, open boot to empty and check tyre, the jack falls from its rusted holder, bashing my fingers; Bl00dy B!tch! And a whole lot of other nice words
:argh::argh:
After a time out, we explore the wet boot to find the source of the Freaking Vaal dam in the tyre well and why the jack holder is rusted!
Back parcel shelve and a hole in the rain track, all that was fixed 18 months ago by some useless oxygen thieving idiot :bangdesk:
More to fix great again . Not in the mood for this leave car in sun and boot open to dry out and go inside house for a call of nature.
Just washed tiles in bathroom, wait for it.
Yep I slip on tiles – end result one broken toe! – By now I hate this day
…………….. what’s next! :cry::cry::argh::cry::cry:

Decide to pop a pain killer or three and take a nap. Damn toe is painning too much.
Okay surf the web to take my mind for a walk

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh this not a good idea.
Found an E34 540 in mint condition, with ALL the bells and only 160K on the clocks, at a fair price.
Damn I just bought a freaking E39 that I’m still waiting for the work-shop to sort!!!![/color]
