Also, just be aware of your insurance clauses on these things. Some insurance companies specifically state that your licence disc needs to be up to date for the insurance to remain active.

Hmmmm Mine expires end of the month, But it needs to be done in the EC. So my mom is in PE and asked her to do it, she was told it has to be done in Port Alfred :( and she needs a letter signed by me saying she can pay it. even though she has my original ID with her. So stupid.

:BS:
Any body can do it, as long as it's in the same province.
Don't you have the renewal notice? That will make your life a lot easier.

Thats the problem, it has not come in the post yet.

Thats what they told her in PE, said she has to go do it in Port Alfred.

I once had a car that expired 31 December, for the 3 years I owned it, I always forgot, and only used to remember after the holiday rush.

I have a car that expires 31 Dec and 31 Jan, I just pay both the 2nd week of Jan. That's when I remember to pay them. :fencelook:

If you miss a month and pay a penalty, the renewal date should also move.

no i used to go take it out after the holiday rush is over, usually by the 10th, was still in the grace period then.
