Eina, well on the brighter side, maybe you can get m sport bumpers? thats what i would do.

Yeah its a bummer. What fascinated me was i feel my level of self control has increased over the years. I didnt yell , curse or criticise driving although I really wanted to 
. I said all the "husbandly" things like Its just a car and it can be repaired etc. I could see she was feeling bad enough without me adding to it. lol.
As they say Sh*t happens. Thank god for insurance.

You handled it like a gentleman. No use making a scene, we all make mistakes.
My wife pranged my prized Sentra many years ago. I felt like crying. instead I said its fine, we will have it fixed. Poured myself a few shots, carried on with the braai, by my friend's place, and made her drive me home.
She was scared to drive fro a while, didn't see the point adding to her fear.

Sorry man! I know the feeling , Lent my dad the e46 and it came back with a shopping mall dent , anyway I didn't even mention it to him . Something I always told myself , No matter what our cars mean to us , its just a car , Metal and wires , It can be repaired or replaced . People and family can`t . We might get angry and say things hurt their feelings and would regret what we said later on , And that's a terrible feeling to have especially with Parent, Spouse , Kids , Whatever has happened , the Damage is done , rather just repair and carry on . Its not like the damage was purposefully done I say , Accidents happen we just have to accept and move on .
