There are both great quality parts out there and others like some LED stuf I have bought that prompltly melted bulb holders and housings.

I can understand both sides in this, but what confuses me is why void the entire motorplan and not just annotate it saying fine, now if your lights fail it's not covered?

There is no way ever that a light bulb would make the brakes fail for example.....

Exactly, the big boys will always win:nonono:

But the guys at Forsdicks here in Durban just told me they will void that part and anything related so when I changed mags on my 330 and went 2 sizes up they said they just going to void wheels and suspension which I was fine with as I changed everything anyway. The rest of the plan was still in place and went in for other claims thereafter.
However as said above it was just a good dealer relationship, no one gave me anything in writing.

Thats all fair and well if you have that relationship with the dealer.

But as both a supplier and service provider we cant take that risk.

My M3's got LED coronas and taillights from new. They have never been removed from the car, the dealer even tried reprogramming the computer for the error codes(went away after 2 weeks some how) that the taillights were causing.
