Launching and Dragging with an auto x35i

Hi Guys

I am learning this auto box on the 135i and I am seeking guidance from other fanatics with experience in launching or dragging these cars.

Whats the best way to launch? DTC off? Tim yoyo Mode ?
At what rpm ?
In 1st or 2nd ?
Idle rpm to change at? , feels like ideal is about 6500rpm ?

Another question
I launched with dtc off, was using paddles but at one point the electronics interfered and changed at about 5000rpm ( i think )
Will test it again?

Even in D the cars awesome.

Just the normal auto with paddle shift.

Have no clue other than to say, stick it into DS sport mode with DCT completely turned off to begin with. Now when it comes to bringing the revs up, not sure but probably just a case of holding the car with the foot brake while getting the revs up prior to launch...

As per Philip, but in second gear if you run a strong tune.

But the dragsters can advise...

I have tried all versions lol, but with JB u need semi for track launch IMHO. The x35 torque just toooooo much
