The steering was worse than I thought, but I seem to have a shiny spot, I don't remember that being there buying the car, so might be grease from one of the times it went back to dealer. I didn't want to try to be too aggressive knowing that it will be coated and it will be cleaned again

Remains seats were not bad at all. It is clear that the leather is different, to the point where I wonder how much leather is in the material. On my E60 the leather was firm, not hard. It was more durable over the 11 years I had it. On this car, it is softer, more comfortable for sure but my worry is whether it will be as durable.

Probably the hardest part to clean up was the dash. The digital cluster is a mission to get clean and keep clean. The after in the pic was probably after 3 tries. Each time there would be some residue or streaks. Trying to get to the areas closest to the silver rings was also a mission but overall it came out decent.

I wasn't planning on cleaning this, but upon closer inspection it needed it.

I used Nasiol leather boost on all leather and vinyl. It doesn't add or remove any shine or sheen so the seats look exactly as they did after cleaning. It was left for a day to cure and now it's been a few weeks. I wonder if a second application would help any....

Not much of an update, but after a short holiday which meant parking the car under a tree for a weekend, I found that my boot spoiler managed to catch the tiny leaves that fell from the tree. In my haste to try and clean them, I managed to find some spots where the tape was not adhering 100%. My frustration got the better of me and I chose to remove the spoiler to clean and reapply.

Didn't go quite as planned though....I broke the spoiler 😕. So I went spoiler less for a bit until I was ready to replace it.

I swear Firi has got overnight delivery arranged with his courier. The spoiler arrived before takealot could deliver the appropriate mounting tape .


I love the look. I prefer the fitment of this over the previous one, where the last one sat on top of the bootand this fits on the angled part of the boot.
