I've been mulling it over, and do you guys not think it would be better and more inviting to a bigger audience if we change this run to a normal "All are welcome" Breakfast run so that all fanatics can join us??

All welcome!! Please join!! :thumbs::thumbs:

is this run exclusively for 135i's or can I bring my e46 m3?

The run started out as a x35 only run, but we changed it to a normal all-are-welcome run!!!this way the turnout will be higher, and more people/cars are always better!

So yes, please join us in your e46 ///M:inlove:

Yes, I've got fanatics stickers.

Now I can tell you what the club run was all about ...... We went to the car museum, lunch in Franschoek and a few of us went home via the Pass to Grabouw and Sir Lowrys Pass.

The museum had more than half the amount of different cars on display than what they had in August when us Fanatics went.

The Franschoek Pass has Road works. We waited almost 20 mins..... So if the plan is still to do the pass, just remember the waiting time for the road works.

Some nice cars that the new members have.

I also realized this potential problem yesterday when I drove the pass.do you think it can be avoided by going round another way??or is that the only route?it seems it is the only road to take hey?!?otherwise we need to go through Stellenbosch?i think that's the only option?guesse we'll have to settle for the very short Helshoogte Pass

Or are you guys willing to wait at a roadworks stop-n-go?

What say the you guys?

Btw Carbon, it seems your run went very nicely??how big was your fleet?how many cars?Any special cars there worth a mention?

A suggestion..

Make the run shorter, to a location with a nice parking area for photos, videos and an opportunity to talk about cars (mostly), around our cars.

We don't need to drive around the peninsula

The big parking lot in sea point is always good, or somewhere near the stadium.
Can get ice cream or whatever.

That's my 1psi or 2cents worth.

M4Life... the annual BMW festival hosted by SA Beemer is on 01 May.
In case you're thinking of staying a few days in CT.

A shorter route is on the cards!i know many don't want to spend all day on a run, so my first suggestion was a bit too long and will be revised.

I will check a map and get back to you guys. :=):

There's a nice big parking lot on gordons bay beach front also with a few restaurants and other places also. No nice roads to have fun though :thumbdo:

I like Revo's idea of a short drive and chilling talking car stuff.

Some of us did almost 200kms yesterday

I've got a nice route planned out.About 80km long.Maybe 90km.includes chapmans peak, where we can stop off that awesome viewpoint with plenty parking and beautiful views for some great photos.maybe even a little picnic there if you guys are keen.then ice cream afterwards at Campsbay/Seapoint/Greenpoint somewhere.

I've left out Franschhoek cos of the roadworks and the extra long drive etc.We can drive that pass on the next run...

Will post the route with detailed instructions later...

Thanks @ the real stig for the help with the route:ty:
