What do you guys think??

Sound good to me - never been to the museum, so wouldn't mind killing two birds with one stone. Also quite a nice route for some spirited driving... ;)

This weekend might be too short notice if you want a good turn out. Many guys have to plan before hand and can't just jump up and vy like us bachelors :biglol:

Why dont you move this thread to western cape events..

By the way, will you be joining us??

So I've been thinking of a possible route we can follow to make it the most fun and visually appealing possible...

The route I had in mind is this:

We meet at N1 City McDonalds, take a drive towards Houtbay along Chapmans Peak and through Noordhoek, then maybe Kommetjie or straight round the southern peninsula to Muizenberg side...
Then it's option 1:
either through Muizenberg towards Stellenbosch - Helshoogte- Pniel and then Franschhoek (short distance option).
Or option 2, the long route (this is what I would prefer) also from Muizenberg - N2 through Grabouw and over Viljoens Pass into Franschhoek Pass and into Franschhoek.

We can have a bite to eat in Franschhoek (We can reserve a few tables somewhere or each can simply wing it on their own) then afterwards head to the Motor Museum only outside of town.

If we went for the second option then on our way back we can still pass through Pniel and Helshoogte for a last bit of twisty roads and head back home.

See map here in case I missed something:

I'm not too familiar with southern peninsula's roads after all.Only been around a few times but it takes my breath away every time

I'll wait for the rest of details to be finalised for the 27th before I confirm, but so far it looks good
