Lambchop's Nissan GTR Detail

Sup All

So this week-end a customer dropped off his Nissan GTR for a bit of attention. Over all the car was in decent condition but as always you can always improve on the appearance. The paint was quite soft but the paint readings were very healthy. I must say red is a very nice colour to detail but on the other had very hard to spot defects if the lighting isnt sufficient

Finally mastered the MF polishing pads and they do make a bit of a difference once you get the hang of it.

BTW those rims are 22" if you are wondering

Some before's

The car was foamed and washed to remove the grime

As you can see the white haze is a clear indication of oxidation which seems to be alot more common on red cars than any other

Some nasty swirls

After

These marks were rather interesting. I suspect they were caused my machine polishing with a wool mop.

I applied Raceglaze 55 as the LSP - im not a big fan of this wax but makes the red pop quite nice

Great Work. Were are you getting your painters tape from? Was at Builders in Northriding and they didn't have in stock.
