Time Trial Track Sessions

• Cars are will be grouped in 3-4 separate Time Trial track sessions based on vehicle performance and in most cases driver skill. These sessions will be reserved for Time Trial cars only. There might however be the odd Race Car featured where a track day sponsor or club partner will take their customers around for a few hot laps.
• Please stick to your session unless otherwise arranged, you will ruin other participants runs if you jump around the sessions.
• A session board at the pit exit will indicate the currently running session and the marshals will not let you out if you go out in the incorrect session. You will have your session number on the top right of your windscreen, above the driver’s head.
• Session 3/4, being the slowest session, will also host all the novice and first time drivers. It is advisable that novices take other experienced drivers with them during their first run out.
• Each session lasts 15 minutes with a maximum of 20 cars per session.
• Cars are set off from the pit exit in 3 second intervals to ensure that you have a clean run and to ensure safety.
• No overtaking through corners!
• Please do not dive bomb or hassle the BMW Driver Training and Bridgestone hot lap cars as they will be full of passengers.

Time Trial Prize Classes

• The table below describes each class and how vehicles will be group for trophies throughout the 2012 season.
• Forced Induced covers both turbo and supercharged vehicles.

This sounds very tempting.

If cars are grouped into 3 or 4 Time Trial sessions and there are only 4 time trial sessions, does that mean you only get to go in one session, maybe two?

Basically how much track time does R850 buy me?

There are 4 time trial sessions and each session has 4-5 groups of 20 cars in order of engine capacity, force fed and type of car etc that will go on for 15 minutes each which gives you a out lap 6-7 hot laps and a in lap to cool down. Then the last session which is a open session lasts for an hour and a half and all cars left at that time can go on track as most guys leave after all the sessions are done this session is very cool but you are normally very tired at this point and so are your bandags!

So lets say like my wagon is in class 2 turbo cars exceeding capacity of 3.0 litre then i will run as follows after the group 1 guys.
Session 1-15 min 7-8 laps
Session 2-15 min 7-8 laps
Session 3-15 min 7-8 laps
Session 4-15 min 7-8 laps
Session 5 open session-1 hour 30 min 20-30 laps

And obviously these sessions are every hour or so with lunch break and race series in between.

...too bad I wont be allowed on the track, even if I pay the track fees...

Problem is that once I get on there with my blue light, everyone will drive 60, and no one will overtake me.
