Had 2 runs... The first one. The ST BROKE off the line and the second s3 wasnt much of a race, something must have been wrong with that car as well.

Oh took me, sorry. Rushed through the thread, GSW, thanks man.
See why oh won the Promotec shoot. To catch my car in a movie shot takes talent :roflol:

Uhm, I may have slightly beat the e92. Maybe. :fencelook:

In the immortalized words of Vin Diesel, "it doesn't matter if you win by an nice or a mile, winning's winning". It was slightly more than slight dude. Thanks for the run mate. :=):

That was me in the E92 on the day. I lost to both 135's, a 335i, a Lexus V8 powered Toyota, a super quick golf R, another E90 BMW and a golf 4 GTi. :flyfun:

Won against a stage 2 golf R, Audi A4/5, 325is with M3 motor, Audi S3.

It was my first time on a track with this car and I had an absolute blast. Played around with different launch techniques and passed the finish line at around 150kph pretty consistently. Was gr8 meeting a few of fanatics there and thanks for the runs. :)

Nice meeting you man!
Was some good runs. Love your win or lose sentiment though, it's what racing is all about, and it's one I share!
Great meeting you, hope to see you more often chap!

You still went home with the better car and someone gorgeous in the passenger seat. Holy hell :inlove: ha! Ha!

Funny you mentioned that Dev.

Read on the VW forum some Dude saying he beat an M3 bla bla bla. The other guys then tuned him that the M3 driver is still going home in an M3 and that they want one as their next car.

Seems they still respect the car and love it. Even though they've dropped thousands in their cars to just beat one. People forget the V8 M3 only gets 65% of its power to the rear wheels up here.

Why dont we just supercharge them all. =D

Likewise mate. Perhaps at the next event, located just after the end of the earth...

Haha! I'll be sure to pass on your compliments. She was grateful for the small lesson and under and over steer

I must admit it did cross my mind a few times I was letting the brand down in some way or the other... But that being said, I was like a kid in a toy store. I never said no to any race even if I knew I was gonna lose.

Both golfs I lost to were very quick. I was off the line faster than both but was passed shortly there after. They guy in the #R was quite nice and we had a nice chat on the way to the line. He says that that is around the fastest #R in the country with 11.9 down the 1/4m. He's going for 11.4 soon...

The Golf 4 driver wasn't very chatty but judging by the look of the I/C and slicks up front the car was track ready...

I was also told by one of the officials that the Lexus powered Toyota was gassed up. Funny how they fail to mention these things...

But all in all, I would really like to attend the next event despite the losses.

Yeah it's all in the fun of the game for me. I wasn't going to run but decided what the hell. Keep it off the roads you know. Until Andz chases me :fencelook: ha! Ha!

Oh she actually bothered taking cogniscence of my blabbering. Ha! Ha! I'm surprised, best lessons are shown though. Ha! Ha! I found the point of understeer on my car while racing through the corners on the track. I was running more for the corners than the straight  damn I need to do a track day!

Nice pics man! Car looks mean! Love that its a manual as well

Hi guys.

Can someone tell me a little about tarlton. Is it just like kayalmi. Is it also 400m runs

I see everyone saying its at night. Is there enough lighting.

Someone said they will bring they braai stand. So I am assuming you bring your own coldrinks and food. Are there no stalls.

How many fanatics going. I don't like going where I don't know anyone. I feel all alone

I'm thinking of attending. What time is it starting.
And where is tarlton.

I see everyone saying its at night. Is there enough lighting. Yes, proper lighting.

Someone said they will bring they braai stand. So I am assuming you bring your own coldrinks and food. Are there no stalls. Not sure about food stall, etc. But normally, Friday night, the guys go there to race. Many eat before or after. Not to sure about open flames.

How many fanatics going. I don't like going where I don't know anyone. I feel all alone You wont be alone, Friday nights tend to get busy.

I'm thinking of attending. What time is it starting. Gates open 17h00. Racing starts at 18h00.
And where is tarlton. on the R24, halfway between Krugersdorp and Magaliesburg
