Your ACS looks awesome.
I was there with the black 130i
Sho, that car is awesome on the track
Took a bit to get used to at first, but man does that car sit on corners
I did not have full confidence but a seasoned driver will have loads of fun with this car
did not see the ACS go out - that thing must be a awesome as well

Razz, you should have come and said Hi!!! I would have taken you for a spin.
Awsome day!! Best fun you can have with your car with out a doubt!! I switched the DSC off for the first time after feeling a bit more confident than last time. And discovered that it was just holding me back, with it off you realise how much it gets in the way. I thought I would go spinning off at the first mistake without it. But she feels more stable with it off. Started really throwing it into the corners and seeing some of teh wobbles that other cars were picking on on similar lines and speeds to me, I can say she is very stable on the track and not as tail happy as I would have thought.
Best timed lap was 1:38.6. Someone else was doing the timing so I am not sure if that was the best one or not.
Honda Civic type R was really good in the corners but the Coupe pulled out from underneath it on the straights, even with it being in my slipstream.
350Z was about equal on the straights
P.S, RAzz sorry I didn't see you either on the track, I think I saw your car though:thumb: Had a quick look at my photies and no black 130i either

@deon: 255/35 z 18s on the rear. The reason the there is no tyre squeal is proberbly because I am not pushing fast enough!!! The new 3 series have alot of weight to throw around. The 330d was most impressive!!! I was very easy on the brakes as last time I cooked them braking too hard. I am looking into a powerbrake conversion but need to be very careful because I still need to keep it OK for the road. I need to look up some times too see how good/bad 1:38 is. I also need to set up proper timing. That time was friend on a cel with no lap function and some laps were much faster than others and he did not time all the laps.
@deon: Is that you in the background of one of the pics?
@kabal That was my second track day... with the DSC on I feel the first day was a waste of time, that is how big a difference it made. The car still felt steady. Even fumbles in the corners were no biggy without the DSC and I am by no means a good driver.
@Razz I left before the last round. Handbrake was giving me trouble... not the one on the BMW:mmm:

I saw you guys there. I should have said hi. Your car looks hot.
I didn't drive my 130i this time. I drove the 4 door E36 black M3 race car. Had fun with it. Never driven it before.
My time, which was only timed in the last session, was 1:36, with a passenger.
2 seconds slower than my best in my 130i.
The passenger had an awesome app (Race Chrono) on their phone. She wanted to show me what it does, like the timing, speeds per lap and sessions, etc.
My steering wheel in the 130i does similar like the lap timing, G Force, etc.
The next track day is Sunday 27 June. See you all then. I'll be in the M again.
