Thanks for the kind words gents....Appreciated

Bmw is replacing the exhaust next week due to a rattle. I tried to ask to pay in a difference for the M Performance and they said no :ROFLMAO: was worth a shot.
Center console buttons were abit hard to press, so thats getting replaced as well.

Some pics taken by @MS1media at the Rennzport event last year. Epic day was had and some stunning pictures from MS1 as always.

Congrats! I've seen a few pics of her around, she is stunning!

If I were to upgrade, I'd seriously consider an 8 series. I think they look fantastic.

Congrats on the car! its stunning!

I have been shopping for one for a few months now. still deciding if It's the right car.

How has your Daily driving experience been? Its probably going to be the SO's daily driver.

Congrats on the car! its stunning!

The M8 is an awesome daily driver. Like any car, it has its pros and cons.

Pros:
  • Ride Comfort: The ride is exceptionally comfortable. Almost too comfortable for an M car. Compared to the G80 M3, which feels more track-focused and connected to the road, the M8 prioritizes refinement.
  • Suspension: The M8’s suspension is softer and more refined. The Adaptive M Suspension helps stiffen things up in Sport Plus mode, but overall, it remains very smooth.
  • Interior Quality: Premium materials and a luxurious feel throughout the cabin.
  • Seats: Wider and softer than those in the G80, really comfortable for long drives.
  • Noise Levels: Minimal road noise and a quiet cabin.
  • Technology: Packed with advanced tech features as standard.
Cons:
  • Ride Softness: For me personally, the ride is a bit too soft. I feel the G80 would suit me better for a more engaging experience.
  • Size: The M8 is a large car, which can make tight parking spots challenging. The Gran Coupe helps, but the two-door versions are trickier in tight spaces.
  • Fuel Consumption: Surprisingly economical for what it is. I averaged around 10L/100km with conservative driving. However, if you have a heavy foot, fuel disappears quickly. For example, I burned half a tank doing around 15 quarter-mile runs.
  • Seating Capacity: Comfortably seats four adults. Two in the front and two in the rear. The middle rear seating is cramped (Actually there is no seat there but can be used for short distance if you small) and uncomfortable, so realistically, it’s a four-seater.
My opinion is mostly based between the M8 and G80 since those where my choices.
Drive your choices back to back and decide.

My decision was based on:
Wanted a fast car without modding
A car that i can use for family trips and occasional 1/4 mile events.
Budget and what i could see myself driving for a longer period without wanting a change.

Its not my daily, but would i? Defiantly
