Looks very clean without the spoiler! Nice!
Was that not an OEM spoiler? First gen?

congratulations! nice car! where did you get the windscreen cowling?

thanks....I got them from bmw.

thank you guys.....

will be using the car daily from tomorrow. ... the car feels really lazy at the bottom till about 3000rpm. this could be due to the fact that the car sat most of the past two years without moving. from the owner he said the car never saw the highway in the past 5 years as his son used it to college and back which is a few km away.

will be doing another oil change after 3 weeks and see how she runs.

if not vanos seals will be done. I also suspect the crap really loud exhaust has a part in the lack of power at the bottom.

time will tell.

Karsh a guy that worked with me had an E36 323i Individual at the time I had my E46 320i and both cars felt very similar ito power delivery. My e46 320 was similar to what you described....lazy in the lower Rev range.

Hope you can get more power out with some TLC

thanks prev...you right...I also had an e46 320i and very similar. the e36 feels sluggish at the bottom tho. not very responsive.

could be the 330d has spoilt me but nikz has a few mods up his sleeves so will leave the performance side to him:rollsmile:

Do the vanos and leave the oil.

You will need special tools to align cams.

The vanos will sort out the mid range.

Tools are on order:rollsmile: but appart from the vanos the exhaust setup is not ideal and was built for noise rather than performance. Vanos is on the to do list tho:=):

Congrats on the car Karsh. Love the e36 and the kit really makes it better.. I'm also not a fan of the double spoiler... A motorsport 2 spoiler though :blowheart:
