So I am not totally screwed when it comes to needing a new deposit?

no updates/logins in a while, but bad news.

was stuck in an accident on the N1 tonight. Some f***** who somehow missed the hazards and blue lights rear ended me quite badly... That caused me to hit the towbar of a bakkie in front of me.
I fear it will be a write off.

I am fine, and my insurance will cover me

But...... the car has 44xxx KM on it, and was in pristine condition. You dont get E90 LCi's with that mileage on them. That is the worst part. :blueCry:

At least it is summer, and I have my bike, but now my search starts over again. F30 maybe??

Crazy thing luck. Catch a red/green robot, leave home 1 minute earlier/later..
Just as a coincidence... My 2012 is on 43k

BTW, I am super crap at updating

Turns out after only seeing my car in the dark, it wasnt actually that bad. saw it in the day, and the damage was skin deep.

holidays however caused a delay, but I got her back today.

I was in two minds about it not being written off, but I am glad to have back my super low mileage, still immaculate condition beast :)

A couple of weeks back I got my first "Engine fault. Reduced power" error while pulling away vigorously at a robot.

Stopped and restarted the car and it was gone. For a while. However, this is now happening more frequently, when boosting from low rpm, so I took it in to Anton @ APS.

Scanned and found the code 30FE Overboost error. We cleared all errors and reset adaptation, and said I should come back after it has happened a few more times, so we can be sure of the error.

When I left I obviously wanted to reproduce limp mode, which happened, but now remains on even after taking the key out.

Will now take back tomorrow to have it looked at. Hopefully this is not expensive, but I am not overly optimistic.....

Turns out that the charge pipe cracked at the flange. this then led to the pipe blowing off.

new charge pipe, and an oil and plugs change while we were at it, and all is good again.
