Love the the interior work, and that steering looks very smart

No offence to you ,merely my opinion but did you consider replacing the headlight or using a different shroud like those silver ones in the pic
Those black shrouds make me focus on them instead of the whole front of the car I think if the headlights were more OEM with the Bmw type shroud and a set of Angel rings it would be a nice touch to the front

thanks man. using a shroud would require me to find a set of bosch headlights with excellent condition glass. big money. this is explained in this post . besides I like them black, and would have painted the shrouds too :)

angel eyes have no place on an e36, IMO :fencelook:

I also rather not see angel eyes on the E36.

Maybe smoke corners will suit the black shrouds you have, but overall the car is looking great!

finally put my dash/centre console back together.

the extended leather being all red was too much red for me, and the colour match was off, so I decided to make it all black instead, much better :joy:

here some quick shots

before:

after:

also swapped my e36 handbrake assembly with wood handle, for an e46 unit, that came with a pretty good condition leather handle.
I must say that the e46 handbrake is far superior to the e36 unit. it has a much "better" ratchet system, and a strong return spring, something the e36 doesnt have.

nice design on the e36 mechanism. the service position for the handbrake is 4 clicks, and that just so happens to perfectly centre the "hole" in the handbrake.
