Hi guys,

As per title, usually go to SMW in Roodepoort but feel they’ve become a tad expensive in servicing a R56 Mini (ala R5k when I asked for a minor service).

Can anyone recommend another place that has taken care of their Mini? Don’t mind driving out a bit if the place is good.

Not sure if I’ve been spoiled by MotorPlans but this cost seems excessive

he is in Fairlands , excellent service and goes out of his way , he always quotes before doing anything at all and his pricing is excellent .

Get a dealer comparison quote bud.

Depending on what their "minor" service entails it does seem excessive.

he is in Fairlands , excellent service and goes out of his way , he always quotes before doing anything at all and his pricing is excellent .

Agree with this. He is up the road from me and he's brilliant, and very well priced. Replaced an engine mount (BMW part) and did a major service, in one morning, on my wife's F56 Cooper 4 door and cost me just over R9k (service was about R3500 all in). Highly recommend him.
