So Insurance got back to me and will not cover ANYTHING. :bawling: So Skidpan only for me..... And skin pan wheelsmmmm I dont have those just my normal ones. Will they take a lot of punishment?

Skidpan is awesome track in a tourer 318i A/T wont be too great in my mind. but on the skidpan its gona be awesome.

The skidpan doesnt do much to the tires, the only place that would do most damage is at the start when you drop clutch & spin away but not for you

I just have this set of crappy tires that spin & slide really easy so put them on to have some more fun & also some fun on the way there with no worries for my yokis that will be safe @ home

Funds are a bit tight this month, so no track for me :cursin:. Realy wanted to climb om no that the extra weight is out of my boot. Ag, next time.

Skidpan is great fun and you wont damage your car, unless you are realy over eager. The track layout changes every time but to test your skills and not to damage the car. :thumbsup:

So Skidpan it is. Also Anyone coming from the West rand side. No point in driving all the way to William Nicoll when I am 3 min from N14/R28. I might wait at the track or meat you guys at the bridge over the Highway. I will be the tall dude in a tourer.

Jump On N14, the get off at R511 (wiliam Nicol) then get onto R114 (krugersdorp Pretoria Road) then meet up with us at corner of boundry road and the R114 at about 7:45

Or just go to the track

@ Andrew - I just as might do that.

@ Spy007 - Why not meet up with us in Centurion. At the corner of the N1 highway and John Voster off ramp. On your left is a complex with a garage. We will be there in the parking lot. You can phone me if you need directions. 083 376 0551. Anyone for that matter.

@ Alpina - I know what you mean w.r.t. the pigeon cage. How does it sound in your car though. I realy hope the guys from Eersterust will pull through. I need to see E30's badly :excited: !!!!

@ Uber - Der Meister. Hope you have a big memory card for the camera, cause you going to be taking a lot of pictures. Bring the sun tanlotion and a big ass rim hat with. It's going to be full day !!

Bad news. I’m out !! :bawling:

Have trouble with my brakes. It makes a terrible metal on metal noise when I brake while the wheels are not straight. They experts can only help me on Monday. Any idea what it can be ? :dunno:

It could be but why only when I turn ? I also have no lights on inside the car.

Meet & greet – definitely and option but I’m from Brits so it is a couple of km’s for me and I do not want to cause more damage or even part failure. I will go if you guys do not think that it can do harm.

Does it make the noise when you turn to both sides or only one. Could be the break dust cover that is missing of one of the wheels, I think.

getting of at R511. Noob Question but is it not easier to get to Swarkopz down PTA west offramp where the circle use to be??And getiing all excited over tom. Never been to a skidpan before, or track day as a matter of fact.

1. How many people do you think will be there.
2. Can I bring the wife to watch a bit.
3. Will there be other ladies?

I dunno. I just put the details into the gps, an checked which route it took, maybe u should just meet us at the track. I am sure u could bring the wife with, dunno who else is bringing their ladys. Dude i am also so excited, first time for me in my car an only 2nd time on the skidpan. Spent the last 2 days sorting my car out getting it all ready. Fixed the radiator leak, swopd the wheels around, got rid of all the crap that i keep in it, all the loose stuff thats gona fly around, cleaned the inside a bit, gotten my camera ready, had to get some new batterys. Now thats all left, is to get petrol in, an get my rear tires pumped a bit harder to ease it to spin just make sure your water is correct, an your oil is good. An put your front tires on the empty car pressure an back ones to the full car pressure..
