That was in fact a Silver M coupe... nice car!!!

hehe - Yeah - my dad uploaded it. We had the camera set up on a tripod held in place by nylon ropes tied around the door handles, so the "clicks" in the audio are the sounds of the ropes being pulled

Yeah - that ST was a pain. The issue was that the rules say no overtaking into or in the corners and no tailgating, and it was my first time out on the track, so I was playing it a bit safe. There was no doubt that I was much faster than him - if you listen, in a lot of places you can actually hear my lifting off the accelerator so that I was just keeping pace with him. Burgy and I were also in the "novice" class, so next time we'll be allowed into the next class up where the guys are a lot more experienced, and I won't have to tap off behind ST's again

Suprised SDP didnt have more fun in his blue e30! He can handle that car, but if you have semi's on there is no chance you going around there holding a slide!

It's a pleasure. I also started with the BMW advanced driving course but the time is so limited you don't have enough time to really lean how to control the car. The skidpan is the best bang for buck and lowest risk motor sport event and what you learn will translate to when you go on the track as well. Just be warned it (skidpan, track, etc) is VERY addictive! :inlove: :flyfun:

SDP has great car control, the skidpan was extra slippery this time around as they fixed a few holes not too long ago. It will take a while before the extra slippery coating is worn away completely.

Thanks bud! Yeah we were actually going to run a few laps with andrewbuch's suction mount, but Burgy and I got a bit confused. We were going to give my helmet to Crash_Nemisis so that he could go along for a few laps, but Burgy didn't come in - was obviously having too much fun :joy:

Anyway - was a great time, and I'll definitely be back there sooner than later

I also found it to be much slipperier than last time I was there.. kept spinning out..

I had to leave early, Fiance was sick at home.. So needed to stop off & gets some meds... There will always be next time
