Ok. Update from VAC.
Upon seeing the pics we sent them, and them never ever having this issue before, the boss of VAC, Tony, is under the belief that the locks that were sent to us, are in fact the wrong set. He believes they sent us Shrick Locks/Keepers.
They can't be 100% sure as we only sent 2 pictures of the broken keeper/lock. So they just want us to send some more pics of the locks and valves intact and the intact locks on their own just to be 100% sure.
We're hoping this is the issue and that it can be resolved this week.

So... Looks like I am getting a full new Cylinder head. New Springs, Cams, rockers, retainers, valves, the works...
I am sending the Vac Motorsport stuff back as the locks just keep breaking. I'm so confused, cause the OEM stuff doesn't break, and its not like you can install the stuff wrong. Even a toddler could install the locks correctly first time without knowing what to do. They simply just connect to the top of the valve, and the retainer slides over them.
Vac thinks they sent us the wrong parts.
None the less, I am tired of waiting. I'm just going to buy this full head and slap it onto the rest of the engine and be done with the old head and parts.

:thumbs: Yes, that is a good decision! At least then you know shit will work and you wont have to worry about some shit falling out your engine when you go on some long drive someday..
When it comes to a car like this its simply go big and do it properly or don't bother as it will cost you the price of a new car when your done! and still wont be 100%

Thats far better idea to go with a new head :thumbs:
wait till you have the head before sending back maybe you need some of the parts...
