Is there hope for this bumper

Hi folks,

seeking expert opinion as unlike to get to Panel shop until after the Holidays.
At the KZN North Coast Resort we were staying a fellow guest had the courtesy to do this to my E60 520 bumper and sadly they didn't bother to leave details or at least 'sorry' ;-(

Regardless knowing that Panel-Beaters are actually Panel-Replacers I fear I might be loading an M-Sport Rear E60 Bumper to my insurance without this being my fault.
Does a heat welding technik or skill still exist to repair this quick and relatively cheap for this and if so can you point me to someone in the JHB area.

Appreciate it and wishing all fellow enthusiasts a safe Holiday motoring .

i think you are going to end up with filler on that, not even an ARC will try to straighten and not use filler.

The "free-lance" panel beater for the VW clinic behind my shop has just looked at these images
his statement is as follows
1) total cost approx R1800
2) remove on a friday
3) repair and repaint on a Saturday
4) fitment and collection on a Sunday

When i saw the thread title i assumed i would see a pic big hole in the bumper or something.

That repair should not cost you much.

And Yes there is hope for it.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble Ralf, this is awesome I don't need this rushed over weekend people have other things on their mind esp Friday afternoons that is what I am hoping for around R2k is my excess so if avoid a claim even better happy to be without car for few days ( weekdays even ;-) will make contact if one is furnished

Appreciate finding 'HOPE' ;-)

Edit..........noticed the free-lance bit and assume this is why weekend was sited .....regardless want the fix to be factory finish planning on keeping car for a while
