My 130i is Steptronic and i simply love it... The manual is for the days im bored and wana drive a real car..lol

Hey guys, took my E46 325i to Forsdicks and they replaced the clutch and flywheel. All is going well for now. No more shuddering.

@ San and Epoc I'm glad your problem is solved. @ Stk it seems as if though I'm the only one to take your advice with regard to removing the CDV. The mech removed it a week ago- been testing it since then and so far no shuddering:excited:-touch wood. Much cheaper route for me I think. Just had to get use to the new feel of the clutch but sorted now. Thanks for great advice:thumbsup:

I have experienced the same with my 318i e46, but only when hot. Complained to BMW (while still on motorplan) and they put in new gear box, clutch , etc. then it was fine.

Have a shudder on my 2006 e90 323i and also doesn't happen all the time but at least 2-3 times on my trips to work and back home. thank you for all the excellent info from you guys.
