Intake valve cleaning

Has anyone used the CRC GDI IVD intake valve cleaner on an F30 N20 engine? If so can you advise on how to apply it? Does one just remove the intake hose and spray it in there as I believe it needs to be sprayed in after the MAF sensor.

Or can one remove the MAF sensor and spray it through the spot the MAF sensor goes in?

Also if anyone used this product have you noticed a difference in the car after using it?

Thanks

IMO, the CRC product may be used to try and maintain clean valves AFTER you've had them blasted or scrubbed cleaned ...initially you will need to inspect and see how badly caked they are...im most cases its pretty horrible as with my 335i...i used the scrub method but wallnut blasting would have given better results and been much quicker...ive since started adding a can of TB whenever i can to try and maintain the clean valves...its held up good so far almost a year later

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I am planning on the Wallnut blasting, but only next year after the MP expires.

Do the walnut clean under MP. Talk to your dealership.

Thanks Twinz

Either my dealership does not understand or heard about the Walnut clean. When I asked them, they told me it will void the MP. :thumbdo:

BMW 325i E36 - Hard to start in the morning, plz help me!

I have a BMW E36 M50 1995, it's nice on road for long trip. But it's very hard starting in early morning. I always try to start 7 to 10 times, sometimes it take over 20 times starting. And when it's run, everything's ok, and easy to start next time if temp clock show the middle value (engine warm)
I've replace almost kind of filter, new spark plug, , clean ICV (it's still running), test fuel pump... and almost idea that i can research from this forum and the internet. But i cannot make my car easily to start anymore.
I find the fuel pump donot work when i open the key (not start). And when I start engine, without fuel pump fuse work strongly. I don't know how health of my fuel pump. I heard someone say that fuel pump will run when open the 2-position key, without start engine. And I can't understand what's true???
Please help me solve this problem. I and my parents need this car for work. Thanks so much!
