Insurance for E46

I just want find out if you guys don't mind sharing, how do you pay for your insurance on your E46?

I got a quote for R700. Is this about right?

@Patrick: got mine through Ace Brokers, the underwriter is Anderson Insurance Underwriters. My price is also subject to haveing a tracker fitted, which was an extra R100 a month, but I was paying R1550 before this, so I am happy

2002 318i about R900 with Budget. My mom had a claim (R15k) on another car under the same policy and they hiked the premiums on all the cars by 300 bucks. Going to get in touch with a good broker and let them get me a good premium. Dealing direct with the companies is way over rated.

Jeez , you okies are paying some good rates.

Im paying an excellent rate on my company insurance (R400) but leaving the company soon and need to start looking around for new insurance.

Any suggestions ?

If you guys dont mind , please pm m e with some of the companies that you are using , just so that I have an idea ... (not to worry , wont divulge the information to the company try and get a beter rate)
