Info on 335i

Hi all

I am new to the forum, I just took delivery of my E90 335i (2010 model) and would like to know what engine is in it?

N54 or N55

Please do not kill me for asking, but I have no clue as to when they changed the motors.

Google the first 7 letters of your VIN number and you should get the answer....there is a number of free VIN calculators on the Net. :thumbs:

open the bonnet if it says twin turbo power thats a n54
if it says twin power turbo thats a n55. Read Carefully

Thanks for now, I am trying to get use to the power still, drove the Landy for 2 years now and only have the 335 for 2 days.....

I know myself better than anyone else and know before 2011 says goodbye I will be knocking on some doors to start the tuning process :rollsmile:

OK, what will be the first step of tuning................ Remap? Which one? Piggy back or SW?
